  • Lot #643 - 1878-CC NGC MS-64 PL
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • While hundreds of examples meet standards at either service for MS-64PL, the present example appears finer than average due to reflectivity not far off DMPL. Delicate scattered abrasions get magnified as usual by the mirrors but on the whole, the crystal-bright character looms large on the eye-appeal scale.

  • Bucky The Badger Consignment. 11 graded PR-66 BN, 3 higher at PCGS. An unexpectedly low population adds ample appeal to this already remarkable very-gem proof type cent. The obverse offers a startlingly lustrous appearance, replete with magenta, chartreuse-sienna and ruby-cobalt colors while the reverse features outrageous sea-green surrounding turquoise-carbuncle hues that must be seen to be believed.

  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
